Why an IT Check matters especially in a practice
Health data is among the specially protected categories under the GDPR. On top of that comes the medical duty of confidentiality under section 54 of the Ärztegesetz 1998, which also applies to your staff. Your IT carries that duty every day.
The IT Check looks at exactly that: who can reach patient data, what is reachable from outside, whether devices are encrypted and whether your backups can be restored when it counts. You receive documented findings showing where your practice stands.

Panoramic X-rays and 3D scans are large, valuable and cannot be recreated. We store them so they are protected from hackers as well as from fire, water damage and other natural events, with copies at multiple locations in Austria. And when images need to go to the dental technician, they travel over a secure, encrypted channel instead of USB sticks or unprotected emails.
