Am I affected?About our content
This page explains how the posts on the vetosec blog, the glossary entries and the images are created, how much artificial intelligence (AI) is involved, and where our limit is: we do technology, and we make no statements on legal questions.
How our content is created
The posts on the vetosec blog are written by Dipl.-Ing. Samuel Ziegler, BSc. The glossary is maintained on the same basis. We write about technology only: measures, configurations, review procedures and project experience. Where articles mention laws or regulation such as GDPR, NIS2/NISG, DORA or ISO 27001, it is only to frame the technical context; this is not an interpretation of, or advice on, these regimes. We link primary sources directly, such as RIS, EUR-Lex, CERT.at or ENISA.
AI transparency: partially AI-generated content
Parts of this website may have been created partially or entirely with AI assistance. This applies to texts, English translations and images. Article images are AI-generated pictorial symbols and not photographs of real people, companies or buildings.
AI makes mistakes: despite careful review, inaccuracies, outdated statements or awkward wording may remain. No guarantee is given as to the correctness, completeness or timeliness of any content. Spotted an error? Please report it here, we correct promptly.
An overview of image sources and licences is available under image credits.
Legal notice: no statements on legal questions
vetosec exclusively provides services in automatic data processing and information technology. We are not a legal service provider, tax adviser or auditor. We cannot and will not make any statements on legal questions, not on this website and not in conversations, proposals, reports or projects.
Nothing on this website is legal advice, legal instruction or a legal statement. It does not replace review by a qualified lawyer and does not imply that any particular state satisfies legal requirements. Binding statements on which laws apply, what they require in a specific case and the consequences of a violation are made exclusively by lawyers and the competent authorities. Please direct such questions to a qualified legal professional or body.
Our work is deliberately confined to the technical level: we review, configure, document and improve IT systems. Whether and how legal requirements apply to your business is not decided by us but by your legal counsel.
