Three copies of your data, on two different media, one of them off site. This simple rule saves the business when things go wrong.

How often should a backup be tested?

At least once a quarter. A backup that has never been restored is not a backup when it counts. We test yours regularly and automatically.

Where exactly is my data stored?

In Austrian data centres. That covers a lot of GDPR requirements automatically, without having to think about data residency.

What protects against ransomware?

Mainly backups the attacker cannot reach. If your backups sit offline or write protected, the ransomware cannot encrypt them too. That is exactly the setup we put in place, alongside further protection layers on devices and access.
