## Onboarding

How we take over your operations.

1. **Assessment**: We review systems, backups, access and documentation, often as an IT Check.
2. **Fixed price and onboarding**: You get a monthly price. Then we connect your systems to the platform and close open issues.
3. **Ongoing operations**: Maintenance, updates, backups and incidents. One contact, one report a month.

## Pricing

**What does ongoing support cost?**

The monthly price depends on how many systems we run, their current state and whether anything needs migrating first. After the assessment you get a fixed monthly price. Everything above is included; larger changes are agreed up front.

## Who it is for

For systems that must not fail.

### A good fit if

- Companies with 30+ staff running own servers, clusters or a production online shop
- Businesses with sensitive data and servers, NAS or specialist software
- Internal teams that need a second line and holiday cover

### Probably not a fit

- Pure desktop or printer support without own servers
- Businesses without sensitive data or critical systems. The IT Check and IT emergency help there.

## For IT leads

Technical details: Linux · CIS · SELinux · Ansible · ZFS

- **Operating system**: Rocky Linux or Debian, hardened to the CIS Benchmark, services confined with SELinux.

- **Access**: Management only internally or via remote access, personal accounts with MFA.
- **Backup**: ZFS snapshots, encrypted offsite copy, optionally with Object Lock, restore tests on a schedule.
- **Monitoring**: Availability, resources, security events and backups on our platform, an engineer checks important alerts.
- **Service levels**: Response times by agreement, around the clock via fixed cooperation partners.
- **Documentation**: Network plan, runbook and credentials belong to you and are handed over on request.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does ongoing support cost at vetosec?

There is a fixed monthly price. It depends on the number and type of systems, their current state and any migrations. We quote after the assessment.

### How does your monitoring work?

Your systems report health and events to our operations platform. It filters false alarms and forwards what matters. An engineer checks every relevant alert; routine cases are fixed automatically.

No. What runs well stays. We only recommend new hardware when it is end-of-life or a risk.

### Who owns the systems and credentials?

You do. Hardware, licences, admin credentials and documentation stay yours. If you switch, we hand over credentials, network plan and runbook.

### Is around-the-clock on-call available?

It is possible together with cooperation partners. Availability is agreed individually.

### On site or remote?

Operations run remotely over secured access. On site we cover Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland.
